a lil' note from my desktop

so, today's the last day of the closing sale of kinokuniya pi. fyi, the moment kinokuniya opened its branch at gi, the pi store lost many customers. oops, don't get me wrong, i'm not offending any. i love both stores.

anyway, i bought loads & loads of books today! It's 70% off all item! -> if that explains why
i'm veryyy satisfied with my book hunting results. but i feel really bad for losing kino pi :/
i mean, i literally grew up with pi (i'm 19 this year, kino's 20). the moment sogo's no more at pi, i've lost part of my childhood.
the moment pi changed its granite floors to marble, i lost another part. there's many more to mention like sogo bakery, spice garden ,etc. and now kino. duh!

no one's at fault, people grow up & so do malls. I mean, it's been a really long time. now pi has grown beautifully.
not only that i miss the old pi (i love the new pi too! it's really beautiful!), but i also missed my childhood.

i remember the time when my siblings & i bought some mangas from kino. well, we didn't understand any! but we just love the covers & artwork! we also bought some comic magazines like nakayoshi. of course we can read it! (through pics)

anyway, as for kino pi, farewell. really.
it's good to have u in pi.
i'll keep visiting your other branches! :)

yippie! buku hadiah sweepstakes hari buku sedunia yang diselenggarakan Terrant Books akhirnya sampai juga ke rumah :)

Eniwei, tadi saya mengikuti cooking class yang diselenggarakan social house. Kelas dipandu oleh Chef Hugo Adrian, executive chef -nya blowfish. Acaranya fun banget walaupun yah, makanan Jepangnya fusion, not really my kind of food. Jangan salah, makanannya enak loh! Sangat tidak saya sangka-sangka. Pesertanya pun hanya sedikit, 8 orang termasuk saya, tapi karena tidak terlalu banyak orang malah jadi lebih enak & jelas. Chef nya pun baik & ramah sekali. Lain kali kalau Ismaya group mengadakan cooking class lagi saya pasti ikut deh! :) two thumbs up!

Saya sendiri sedang melakukan sebuah project -project yang boleh dibilang, tidak ada deadline. Semoga sih bisa selesai secepatnya [doakan ya! :) ]

upon checking my own timetable for this week, i realize that i didn't have so much time. thu onwards i'll be having tuition. and not the usual sedap tuition.

speaking of sedap, it's been w very long time since i've last go there. i think i've missed about 3 class with this week's.
not that i'm feeling sad or what, i just like it there. sometimes it's fun to have a much more older friend :)

i think i haven't been able to tell you guys here, but last thu i order 5 books of mythology and tada! the books are now here :D
it just made my day, you know, despite that didn't get anything from today's kino sale. well, i heard they're gonna put some more books by tomorrow. means i've to wake up early.

i wake up very late today. 1 pm. terrific? yes. but it doesn't mean that i get so much sleep. i mean, i sleep at 7 am, means i only got 6 hours to sleep. not that my insom strikes back (well, it kinda), but it was more because of the effing hot weather that me & my mom couldn't sleep.

anyway, last night i had a chit chat with my mom. it is very fun, indeed. i guess she's in a good mood. so, i got to know lots of things, like my gramps' love stories before meeting granny. but what was very interesting was my granny's love stories. it was all funny! not that i wish i was one of them, though.

future

well, as i can't stop thinking about my future, here's some list of what i want to do / become

. i want to own a bookstore
. i want my own private library
. i want to be a doctor. a good one. a pharmacist will also do
. i want to own some restaurants
. i want to open some cafe. well, i already knew where i want to open it
. i'm looking forward when i reach 25. hopefully i'll be opening my own kumon
. i want to be a writer. fiction writer
. i want to own some clothing line
. i want to open up some school. hopefully it'll be a good one
. i want to open schools for the poors. hope the schools will help them to be success
. do charity. of course
. this is kinda crazy. but i don't want to have the usual reception for my wedding. i prefer eloping to.. i dunno? somewhere preferably in Europe
. i want to make my parents happy
. i want to run a magazine company. doesn't matter whose it was, but i would like to experience one

and err... i dunno what else to write. i'm just sos tuck up right now that i can't think of any. not that i've written it all,though.

well, i'll try to keep posting. whether i've remembered or not.

i'm scanning my fb page when i noticed an old friend's status.he said that he got accepted in ucla, major in biology.
a friend in us also got in to usc. still one of the best uni.
a fashion friend will graduate this semester, not only that she's currently doing intern, she's also preparing fo her up and coming clothing line
my friend's cousin was a fashion school student. she graduated from fidm (lauren conrad's school) and currently in the us, she's gonna launch her own clothing line! and it seems the us citizens quite like hers (evidence from reading some articles about her in the net). and u know where did she gain her experience? chanel, bcbg max azria n gucci. speaking of experience..

ok. i totally feel left out. i mean, they were about my age (except for the us fashion designer, ok?) and they have a promising future. and where am i?
