Totto-chan's children
So I've been reading Totto-chan since yesterday. It was really inspirational & I was moved. I mean, how great it was of Mr Kobayashi to understand children like that. He's a great man, really.
Anyway, I continued reading some more of Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's. the second one titled Totto-chan's children. I've just turned a few pages & God! it really got me crying. I mean, I so wanna do social things when I grow up, and this book really opens my eyes. The world needs more people like Tetsuko. I mean, she's a strong woman & she has a good heart! Even though she's the daughter of a violinist & concert master, and yes, she's internationally famous & she's an actress, she's really down to earth. Such a great role model, she is. Back to the book itself, it was really sad to know that there are lots of people out there who's struggling for food & even a new born child can't even cry or smile. They didn't even have the power to move to get rid off the flies.
I'm ashamed of myself. I mean, here I am, sitting in front of the computer, typing these words.
I'm so gonna be a doctor. And I'm so gonna help them, later on. Wish me luck, okay?
Cheers,
A
